OBJECTIVE BASED STRATEGY & TACTICS - FORT WORTH, TEXAS
Over 100 firefighters, company officers, and chief officers attended a series of presentations provided by TESē President/Founder Tim Sendelbach, July 5-10, in Fort Worth and Granbury, Texas. Chief Sendelbach presented three (8 hour) programs for the Forth Worth & Arlington Fire Departments and two programs for the Granbury Fire Department. Each program featured the well-known 10 Step Action for a Safer, More Effective Interior Fire Attack followed by the increasingly popular Objective Based Strategy & Tactics program. Using a series of interactive computer based simulations, attendees were provided the opportunity to discuss and debate the strategy & tactics applied including an in-depth discussion on the importance of Objective Based Operations in relation to effective command & control and fireground safety & survivability.
On behalf of Chief Sendelbach and the entire TESē staff we would like to express our sincere thanks to Fort Worth Battalion Chief Tim Hatch, Captains Joe Kavanaugh, Randy Parker, David Coble, Homer Robertson, and Granbury Fire Chief Scott Cook for their hospitality and support in hosting these programs.
Additional thanks to Glen Ellman of the Fort Worth Fire Department for his continued support and his willingness to share these photos.
